May 1, 1994 - January 5, 2005

It is with great sadness, that we must announce the passing of our faithful pet Puff from congestive heart failure today in our home. He had been in good health up to a couple weeks ago, when his heart murmur progressed.
Puff was adopted from the Back Bay Animal Rescue league in July of 1999, and was found the first day he was up for adoption. It was not my choice to name him Puff, which was the name he came with. He was the store mascot for Honeysuckle & Vine Flower Shop in Wakefield during the majority of the business. Most recently, Puff was one of our ring bearers at our wedding on October 3rd of 2004.
Some of my best memories of Puff were going for drives, even sitting in the driver seat in our lap, paws on the steering wheel. He loved day trips to the beach. Even got him to body surf once! He made a great playmate to our cat Sasha, who we brought into our home in October 2003. He always knew the right time to bark, announcing any guest into the house, and calming down when a guest would give him just a pet on the head. I will always remember his little tongue, always protruding from his little mouth. I will always remember when I would cradle him like a baby, and he would clutch my hand with his little paws, looking up at me with those big eyes.
It is difficult to say good bye to someone that only knew how to give "unconditional love" and needed so little in return. He will be missed by many.
